The armadillos can transmit the leprosy when they attack using their claws. They can carry the mycobacterium leprae known to cause leprosy. There are many diseases that are associated with armadillos. Even if the armadillos may have poor eyesight they have a good smell that can make up for their eyesight. They have the snouts that look that of pigs with long tongue that they use while digging to get food. They can swim under water and they are able to hold breathe for over six minutes.
They are prolific diggers, swimmers and runners. They look clumsy in their protective armor.

The Armadillo will hop up and down, however the airtime is fairly short. The scale pattern provides dark, scale-like armor that covers the top and sides of both the head and the body. The fur pattern provides zigzagging stripes that resemble thick fur. The plate-armor pattern provides long feet and a series of armor plated that run from the tip of the nose to the back of the body. The default pattern consists of a plain body with two dark lines running up the side. The body pattern offers four options with a wide range of differences. The ear options consist of tall, pointy, rounded, and curved. The tail options include small, thick, long, and feathered. The eyes available are similar to those found for other pets and include normal, angry, happy, squinting, rounded, and normal with eye-lashes. This pet can appear in a large variety of colors, but the palette is much more neutral with earth tones rather than the bright colors available to most other pets. The overall shape of the Pet Armadillo is that of a large rounded armored back, a small curled tail, and an angular head with a small pointy nose and mouth.
